The AMAZING “MORI SUSHI’ serves the best Sushi in Town. We’re just going to mention the “NOT-TO-MISS” items at Mori : Starting with Hot Rolls: the incredible “Spicy Lemon Roll”, “Hot Dynamite Salmon”. The new Special Ura items are mind blowing : the “Togarash Roll”, “Special Ura Calamari Roll” topped with fried Calamari, the newly introduced “Hanami Roll” and our all-time favorite “New Style Philadelphia Roll” just hits the spot every time!!!! Most Mori Sushi fans go for the incredible Sushi, but what most don’t know is that their Soups and Appetizers are just as amazing as their Sushi. From the soups menu we’ve had the Tom Yom and Tom Kai Soups which were just right and full of the right ingredients. But our favorite soups at Mori have got to be the Chicken & Beef Noodle Soups that just make a perfect Meal on their own, as they’re full of Meat/Chicken, yummy noodles, vegetables, and the perfect spices. From the appetizers, we loved the Spicy Shrimp Mayo and the Tempura Moriawase (Vegetables). All though we haven’t found a place in Cairo that’s satisfies our Sushi cravings like Mori Sushi, we have to mention that their prices are on the high-end so make sure you have FULL Wallet going in !!
The fact that you can order with an iPad doesn't make up for the food quality. We have eaten much tastier and better presented sushi in Zamalek. Food was way too salty. The iPad messed up our order anyways and the sushi didn't look as appealing as you'd expect in a nice restaurant like Mori sushi. The staff and the atmosphere were really nice but I'd rather pay a 400LE bill for good food than sitting in a nice place. Overall way too disappointing for me to return or recommend to other people.
Mori changed the way I usually perceive sushi. I can safely admit that I am now addicted to sushi. The wide variety of dishes makes Mori on the top of my favorite sushi restaurants lists. I personally find their hot rolls and lemon rolls amazing and extremely delicious. Also, the steak quality is great for a Sushi restaurant. Mori's dessert menu choices are not many, they have around 5 or 6 options to choose from, but the good thing is, their Swiss Chocolate Fondant is very extremely addictive.
Ever since Mori first opened in Zamalek I have become seriously addicted to it. It is by far one of the best places to eat sushi in cairo, they have a huge variety that encourages experimenting each time you visit. My personal favorites are the Ura California and their dynamite rolls, the first thing you will notice however from their menu is how difficult it is choose from all the available dishes. If you enjoy the outdoors you might want to try the sequoia branch and have yourself some shisha while you're at it.
